Los Angeles native , Jonathan Strickland started his journey into the world of post sound during his time at College of the Canyons, where he pursued the Media Entertainment Arts degree. Originally wanting to be a recording artist, it was here that he discovered a passion for audio production and mixing which would lay the foundation for his future career.

Jonathan's first foray into post sound came through his involvement with the web series "The World Famous Aviators," where he composed all the music and mixed the episodes just for fun not realizing this was a viable career option. This initial experience sparked his interest in pursuing post sound professionally.

Through an internship opportunity at Soundworks in Burbank, Jonathan gained invaluable insights into the professional landscape of post sound. It was within the dynamic environment of this renowned post-production facility that he discovered the multitude of opportunities available, cementing his commitment to the craft. 

Since then, Jonathan has been working as a respected re-recording mixer and supervising sound editor and post sound jack of all trades. 

He has worked on many short, feature films, documentaries and scripted podcast.  He most recently was one of the ADR Mixers on Netflix’s Lift starring Kevin Hart.
